About the MGHPCC

The Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center (MGHPCC) is an intercollegiate high-performance computing facility. It is a joint venture of Boston University, Harvard, MIT, Northeastern, and the University of Massachusetts system.

Located in Holyoke, MA

90 miles west of Boston, computing and storage resources at the MGHPCC data center serve a user community of more than 20,000 faculty and student researchers and educators, supported by on-campus research teams.

Millions of Virtual Experiments Monthly

Resources housed at the MGHPCC enable its users to perform millions of virtual experiments each month advancing understanding in societally important areas such as Climate, Energy, Medicine, Materials, Health, Space, and Computing.
