Political, academic and industry leaders joined Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick on Tuesday in Holyoke, Mass., to mark the beginning of construction of MGHPCC.

 
Joining Hockfield and Patrick at the groundbreaking ceremony were Holyoke Mayor Elaine Pluta, University of Massachusetts President Jack Wilson, Northeastern University President Joseph Aoun, EMC CEO Joe Tucci, Cisco Executive Vice President Bruce Klein, and representatives from Harvard University and Boston University.
