OSN 2 - Deploying Storage

The Open Storage Network (OSN), is a distributed data storage service that supports sharing of active scientific data between research institutions where navigation of administrative barriers and/or low bandwidth network pathways present a challenge.

The MGHPCC is one of six initial deployment sites nationally and is a member of the leadership team for this effort to facilitate the simplification of data sharing and transfer. In this video, Chris Simmons explains how a campus deploys storage from an IT perspective.
