UMass - URI Unity Cluster

The Unity HPC/AI cluster is a collaborative, multi-institutional high-performance computing cluster located at the MGHPCC. Partnering institutions currently include the UMass system and the University of Rhode Island.

In this video Gaurav Khanna introduces the UMass - URI Unity Cluster: The "UNITY" HPC/AI/Data cluster (20K cores) is being co-developed and run by UMass and URI for use by URI/UMass researchers. Unique features include secure (SSO), web-based access, heterogeneous architecture (x86, Power, ARM, GPU, FPGA). Disk and tape data storage is available via NESE (Harvard/BU's Northeast Storage Exchange). A collaboration between OSHEAN and UMassNet provides high speed access (10Gbps) to the MGHPCC.
