Cyber-Physical Communication Network Security

The Advanced Communication Networks Laboratory in the UMass Lowell Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering develops tools aimed at securing cyber-physical power systems.

With cyber attacks on the rise, it is important to be proactive in identifying threats to communication networks and protecting critical infrastructure including smart grids. In this video Ken explains his work training and using machine learning models to test detection of hostile traffic and talks about plans for future work.
