The Massachusetts Green High Performance Computing Center (MGHPCC) is a data center dedicated to supporting the growing research computing needs of five of the most research-intensive universities in Massachusetts: Boston University, Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Northeastern University and the University of Massachusetts. MGHPCC resources will also be available to other research institutions. The MGHPCC represents the most significant collaboration among government, industry and public and private universities in the history of the Commonwealth, and it is the first facility of its kind in the nation. This video documents the year long transformation from brown-field site to sparkling new facility.
